Random 80's Wednesday

More 99 cent acquisitions on random play this week.

Social Security - Irrawaddy River (from Waterfalling, 1986)
Ups And Downs - The Living Kind (from Sleepless, 1986)
Heroes - Driftaway (from Here We Are, 1987)
The Metropolitans - Catch A New Wave (from Storybook, 1986)
The Fabulous Pop Tarts - New York City Beat (12" Single, 1986)

Full disclosure - The Metropolitans album only cost me 25 cents. These are all the opening tracks apart from Ups And Downs as the first track was a shorter introductory piece.

Heroes is a band fronted by former Wang Chung drummer Darren Costin.

This week I am going to post the opening track from some 99 cent albums I got from The Great Escape in Nashville.

Ian Cussick - The Supernatural (from Danger In The Air, 1983)

The Way Moves - Shadows Of Love (from The Way Moves, 1988)
The City - Season Of The Heart (from Foundation, 1986)

After I ripped the Danger In The Air album, I found that the artist has made the album available on CDBaby, where you can preview the whole album. I've linked to it so you can support the artist.
